All new residents are always warmly welcomed at The Westbury.
We ensure they meet their key carers and the broader team at a time and in a way that is right for them. We provide a tour of the home so that all new residents can orientate themselves and, of course, show them their room.
We encourage residents to bring personal items and furnishings to decorate their rooms. We take the time to find out about each resident’s likes and dislikes, incorporating these into their daily routine to ensure they feel comfortable and at home.
If they feel like socialising, we will introduce them to other residents as soon as possible via social activities and events.

We have different activities every day and communal areas in the home where residents meet and socialise. Our beautiful gardens are popular for those who want to sit and enjoy nature or try their hand at gardening. We have trips out and entertainers who come to visit us. Residents can be as busy, or as quiet, as they want to.
We want our residents to be as independent as possible and will assist them to be as active as they wish.
The food is excellent here at The Westbury. Providing good, beautifully cooked food is a priority for us and we want our residents to really enjoy and to look forward to their meals.
Our in-house catering team provides delicious meals with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We cater for specialised diets and for anyone who has specific needs or requires assistance with the meal preparation or enjoyment of their meal.
