This afternoon at The Westbury, Nicole treated us to home-made Hot Cross Bun Brownies with a soft gooey centre, and home-made Easter Biscuits which melted in the mouth🍪🐰🐣 Both of these were truly delicious! we also had Hot Cross Buns! Which went down a treat🥰❤️
All residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed the Good Friday treats.
Safe to say that there was none left.

🎉 🎉 What an egg-cellent afternoon! 🥚✨🐰
Our wonderful residents and staff at The Westbury turned the home into a buzzing Easter adventure today with our Scavenger Hunt and Egg Rolling Competition!
From eagerly reading the clues, dashing around the corridors in search of hidden chocolate eggs, to the hilarious Egg Rolling showdown — it was non-stop laughter and excitement! 🏃‍♂️🥚
Eggs were zooming down the corridors, with bursts of cheers echoing through the home. Everyone got stuck in, searching for eggs as well ad tolling them! 🍫🐣
The energy was absolutely electric! Big smiles, friendly rivalries, and incredible team spirit made it an wonderful afternoon to remember. 🥰👒

Yesterday afternoon at The Westbury we had an Easter Bonnet decorating competition 🐰🐣👒
We had pink or white Bonnets for our ladies and even have Blue Trilbies for the gentlemen!
Everyone who joined in, really enjoyed the friendly competition. we had lots of different styles, just the finishing touches today ready for judging on Good Friday 🍸🐣

Today at The Westbury, we had a Picture Quiz!
The topic was ‘identify the Birds’ 🐦

Some of our residents teamed up, but we also had residents playing on their own. There was lots of chatter and discussions to try to identify the 18 birds to name.
The winner with an amazing 16 out of 18 was Andrew!
I think we have a secret ornithologist in our midst 🙂🙃

Meet the manager - Theresa Chacko

Theresa has worked at The Westbury Care Home in Wiltshire for twenty years. As a registered nurse, she brings broad experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people and those with physical disabilities.

Theresa is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for the residents.

Teresa believes that a happy and fulfilled caring team is key to the warm and welcoming atmosphere at The Westbury. She works alongside her team to deliver care and support to residents, and believes that seeing them happy and healthy is the best part of her role.

Outside of work, Theresa has two children and enjoys gardening and seeing her friends and family.
