This afternoon we welcomed back the wonderful Lee Knott to sing and play his trumpet for our residents, herr at The Westbury 🎶🎺
Lee is a firm favourite with our residents who thoroughly loved sining along with all the tunes. He was also taking requests!
Thamk you Lee, we look forward to seeing you again soon (hopefully it will be a bit cooler next time)😜

🌼 Today, during a walk around our beautiful grounds at The Westbury, with one of our lovely resident, we came across these cheerful little daisies blooming everywhere.
Their sweet white petals and golden centres are such a simple, sunny reminder of spring 💛🌼
Can you remember making daisy chains when you were younger? 🫠

Sunday Afternoon Singalong in the Garden at The Westbury 🎵☀️

This afternoon, some of our lovely residents made the most of the glorious sunshine with a wonderful singalong in the garden 😊
With plenty of fluids, parasols up, and the sun shining down, they all joined in with their favourite songs. There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughter, and a real sense of happiness in the air.
We hope our neighbours enjoyed the music and sang along with us! 🫠🎶

This afternoon we enjoyed a lively game of Card Bingo at The Westbury.

Our residents had great fun competing to be the first to shout “Bingo!”
It was a very close, with Maureen taking first place, closely followed by Barbara and Andrew.
Congratulations to our winners, who all enjoyed their prizes of chocolate and biscuits! 🍫🍪
Well done to all that played, it was a very close game!🫠

Today, part of the day was spent visiting some more of our lovely residents in their rooms 🥰
One of these residents was James. We had lovely chat about all sorts of things, including the beautiful sunshine ☀️🌞 We also enjoyed watching a little of his favourite crime drama, Inspector Morse.
It’s always so rewarding to share these one-to-one moments with our residents, they always brighten everyone’s day! 💛
