On Saturday here at The Westbury we had a Sweepstake for the Grand National 🐎🐴🏇🏇🏇
All the horses were picked and we all got ready to watch the big race. Drinks in hand and with anticipation, and whey were off!
Well done to Pip whose horses came in 1st and 3rd!
Maureen’s horse came in 2nd!

Today some of our residents from The Westbury had a trip out to Crockerton Garden Centre.🫠🌼
They enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee & delicious cake

They then had a stroll around the garden centre, looking at all the beautiful plants.
Some even picked up a little treat for themselves 🥰🙃
The residents and Activities Team thoroughly enjoyed the morning out.

The Housekeeping Team all work so hard to ensure our lovely home is clean and tidy for all residents, family and friends to enjoy 🥰They also Make sure all the residents clothes are washed and returned.
The Kitchen Team work really hard to make sure everyone has a delicious & nutritional food every single day.
Both Teams do this with smiles on their faces and nothing is too much trouble!

Yesterday afternoon at The Westbury, the tables ,chairs and parasols were finally out! 🫠

This afternoon at The Westbury some of our lovely residents decided to make the most of the glorious sunshine and head out to the garden 🌷🌼☀️☀️☀️
The weather was absolutely beautiful and with a gentle breeze blowing over their faces and through their hair.
Fresh air and sunshine always makes you feel happy 😜
I think we are now ready for the tables, chairs and parasol’s to come out 🙂

Easter Sunday was a busy day at The Westbury 😜
In the morning every single resident had fresh daffodils along with a Happy Easter poster, delivered to their rooms by the lovely Ellen 🥰
Everyone thought they were a lovely Easter gift and Margaret really loved her daffodils. 🌼〰️🐰
In the afternoon we had our Easter Raffle.
With some wonderful prizes to be won and raffle tickets at the ready, it was time for the draw to begin🐣
Everyone waiting in anticipation!
Betty won first prize of the hamper, she was absolutely delighted. Pip also won a prize was so happy.
The last ticket to be drawn wad the lovely bag which Sonja really wanted so she was extremely thrilled when her ticket was picked🙂👜

Yesterday at The Westbury we had live music from the amazing ‘Will & friends’entertaining us with fantastic songs to listen and singalong too!🎸🎸
The lounge was packed full with residents. family and friends all enjoying a drink and singing alone to the great music🍷🍺🥂
